Interstellar

very good movie
the ambiant song thats playing right now during out presentation is from it!!

This entire project is based from the movie Interstellar, specifically the scene where Cooper and his crew are exploring a planet with extreme time dilation very close to a black hole. On this planet, Miller's planet, 1 hour is 7 years relative to Earth. In this presentation, we will be explaining how a black hole's gravity warps time of the objects near it.

Christopher Nolan, the director of Interstellar, wanted his movie to be very scientifically accurate. So he collaborated with Kip Thorne- who is considered to be the world's leading expert on black holes- making him an executive producer. Thorne contributed immensely to the science of the film and even wrote an entire book about it. This book is where we got most of our information and graphs and I would highly recommend giving it a read if you are at all into astrophysics or even just Interstellar.
